• Full-time Repairs and maintains diesel and gasoline industrial trucks and CAT heavy duty equipment by performing the duties listed below. Mechanic should have tools up to 3/4 inch, have drills, grinders, etc. Work schedule is Monday
• Thursday, 10 hour shifts.

Overtime is available. Work is completed in a field environment and at the main maintenance shop in Anaconda. During winter months most work is completed indoors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reads job order and observes and listens to truck in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures. Observe and test mechanical equipment to detect malfunctions. Use CAT ET and Cummins Insite diagnostic software to communicate, diagnose, and service electronically controlled engines and transmissions. Use hand and power tools to remove and replace defective parts. Installs new ignition systems, aligns front wheels, changes or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions and other parts. Overhauls gas or diesel engines. Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and makes adjustments. Changing tires and wheels on side/end dump trucks. Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications. Fabricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to blueprints or schematic drawings. Ability to operate fabricating machinery such as but not limited to cutting torch, drills, wire/stick feed welder, grinder, and presses. Operate service truck crane with appropriate lifting devices and rigging. Complete appropriate maintenance records. Completes daily equipment inspections including service truck, tools (power and hand), and service truck crane. Drive service truck to and from project locations to repair equipment in the field. Performs lockout/tagout before performing work activities. Education and/or Experience One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Welding certification preferred but not required. Current driver's license 40-Hr
