In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle systems and technologies, contributing to the overall safety and satisfaction of our clients. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain assemblies. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold optimal performance. Repair or replace critical systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and auto body components as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent repair shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, especially GM vehicles. Experience with automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electronic systems troubleshooting. Proficiency in diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and automotive electrical systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, wheel alignments, suspension work, and tire service. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of automotive estimating processes and auto estimating software is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
