Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing a wide variety of RV's. As an RV Technician, you'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct routine maintenance on diverse RV models, including motorhomes, travel trailers, and camper vans. Your passion for vehicle repair combined with excellent customer service will help deliver top-quality service and support to our valued clients. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on recreational vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues. Conduct repairs and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, suspension work, alignments, and HVAC system servicing. Troubleshoot and repair complex systems such as electrical wiring, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, diesel engines, shocks & struts, and plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Perform assembly of new RV components or equipment repair to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and customer expectations. Maintain detailed documentation of all repairs performed and parts used; communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines. Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and quality standards while providing exceptional customer service throughout the repair process. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on automotive or RV repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, transmissions, HVAC systems, and suspension components. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and performing heavy lifting safely. Experience working with automotive electrical systems and plumbing within vehicle contexts is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
