Job Description
Yellowstone Motorsports is looking for a Service Technician ! Yellowstone Motorsports is looking for an individual to join our team as a Service Technician! We'd love to bring in someone with experience, but we are willing to train the right person. The right person does have some wrenching experience personally or professionally, and must be mechanically inclined. As a Service Technician, you would be in charge of servicing motorcycles, ATV's, UTV's, and snowmobiles. In this role, you would report to the Service Manager and work alongside our other knowledgeable Service Technicians and Service Advisors. YMS is a place where all staff members are dedicated to our number one goal: providing an outstanding customer experience.
What You'll Do:
- Complete repair orders in allotted time
- Diagnose and repair systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, etc.)
- New Unit Setups
- Clean and maintain your shop area
- Roll up your sleeves and assist wherever needed
- Learn and grow!
What You'll Need:
- Completion of a training program, such as MMI, or equivalent work/personal experience (must have mechanical experience/knowledge)
- To provide your own basic tools
- An ability to work fast and efficiently
- An ability to work independently and safely without direct supervision
- Commitment to quality and a strong attention to detail
- Passion for motorsports!
Bonus Points:
- Experience operating a forklift or other heavy equipment
- Previous experience in a dealership setting
Pay & Benefits:
- Per hour base pay, plus billable hours, and commission
- Full-Time Position w/ Benefits (3/4 time and Part Time options for the right candidate)
