Job Description:

CITY OF GLENDIVE MECHANIC

Department of Public Works The City of Glendive is looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanic. This position works on a variety of City vehicles and equipment. Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

DUTIES INCLUDE

Perform maintenance and repairs on City vehicles and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues and assist with repairs Work on engines, brakes, hydraulics, and other systems Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment Help keep shop organized and equipment in good working order

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED Valid Montana drivers license Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn, ability to follow instructions and work independently Welding or fabrication experience is a plus, but not required

WORK CONDITIONS

Shop and outdoor work Lifting, bending, and working around equipment
