The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting. This role requires expertise in working with various automotive systems, including powertrain components , as well as familiarity with all vehicles. The Automotive Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, focusing on powertrain systems. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and recommend appropriate services. Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Use power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively for repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop environment. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to automotive repair. Skills Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Experience with powertrain systems. Familiarity with all makes of vehicles. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Ability to weld is a plus. Must have the ability to write up a professional repair order. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
