RV Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated RV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RV repair, particularly with experience in electrical systems and equipment maintenance. As an RV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various components of recreational vehicles, ensuring they are safe and functional for our customers. Duties Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and lighting. Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform repairs on RVs. Service trailer axles Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on various RV components. Perform heavy lifting as required to assist with repairs and part replacements. Generator or small engine repair A plus Trailer repair A plus Carry out auto body repair tasks as needed to ensure the integrity of the vehicle's structure. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction.

Proven experience in RV repair or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of RV electrical systems is essential. Familiarity with power tools and heavy lifting techniques. Experience in auto body repair is a plus. Ability to maintain equipment effectively and perform necessary repairs. Previous work experience in a dealership setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Ability to diagnose repairs needed to correct identified complaints Document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements Communicate additional service requests to service manager Test and verify repairs made Monitor repair time and update service manager regularly May lift up to 25lbs and/or move up to 50lbs Some work is performed outdoors, and employee will be exposed to various weather conditions.
