In this energetic role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and preparing vehicles for resale or service. Your mechanical expertise and attention to detail will ensure each vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety, contributing to our mission of delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues, damages, or missing parts Perform repairs such as brake replacements, suspension work, welding, soldering, and assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools Assist with vehicle maintenance including fluid changes, tire rotations, and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot engine and electronic system problems accurately Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning vehicles or parts during repairs Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle Support the sales team by preparing vehicles for customer viewings through cleaning, minor repairs, and quality checks Experience Prior dealership experience or service technician background preferred Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems Hands-on experience with brake repair, suspension work, welding, soldering, and vehicle assembly Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment required Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in automotive repair or maintenance roles Join us as a Recon Technician and become an integral part of a passionate team committed to excellence in every vehicle we handle.
