Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in automotive repair and maintenance within a professional dealership environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for vehicle service, and a desire to grow their career in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and more. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks Assist with diagnostics using automotive schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and ADAS components Conduct repairs on powertrain systems, transmissions, and vehicle electrical systems Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and modifications Perform wheel alignments and suspension work to ensure vehicle safety and performance Assist senior technicians with complex repairs such as diesel engine repair and advanced electrical troubleshooting Maintain detailed service records and document repair procedures accurately Ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership policies Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly Qualifications Previous dealership or service technician experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engines Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment tools Ability to read technical manuals and automotive schematics effectively Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients Basic auto estimating skills are a plus but not mandatory Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred This position offers a valuable entry point into the automotive industry with opportunities for skill development in various technical areas.
