Overview Join our automotive team as a passionate and energetic Automotive Service Advisor! In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from start to finish. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs Explain repair estimates clearly, including recommended services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, suspension, tire services, and more Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity Prepare detailed auto estimates using service writing software and communicate repair plans effectively Manage vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups efficiently while handling cash transactions professionally Maintain thorough records of all service activities, parts used, and customer interactions to ensure accurate documentation Requirements Proven dealership or automotive service management experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repairs Familiarity with mechanical systems, including transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes, shocks & struts, alignments, suspension components, and tire services Experience working with service technicians on vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes and brake repairs Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Knowledge of auto estimating tools and sales techniques to promote additional services confidently Mechanical knowledge of automotive repair processes combined with mechanic or service technician experience a plus Ability to handle cash responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times Join us if you're eager to leverage your automotive expertise in a lively environment that values energetic communication and proactive service.
