Job Description

We are a dedicated automotive restoration shop located in Statesville NC specializing in classic, custom, and performance vehicles. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for preserving and enhancing automotive history. We're looking for a skilled and motivated mechanic who shares our love for cars and has the expertise to bring them back to life. Candidate must have 5+ years Automotive Mechanical Experience. Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance on classic and custom vehicles Diagnose issues with engines, drivetrains, suspensions, brakes, and electrical systems Assist with disassembly and reassembly during full restorations Work closely with team members to ensure seamless restoration projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Document work performed and communicate progress with management
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience as an automotive mechanic (restoration of classic car experience preferred) Strong knowledge of classic car systems (carburetors, manual transmissions, drum brakes, etc.) and modern upgrades (fuel injection, disc brakes, LS swaps, etc.) Ability to read and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Own a set of professional-grade tools (shop provides specialty tools) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Preferred Skills (not required, but a plus): Welding and light fabrication experience Electrical wiring and aftermarket systems installation Performance tuning experience
