Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems. Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to execute repairs accurately and efficiently. Conduct vehicle inspections, wheel balancing, and wheel alignments to ensure safety and optimal vehicle handling. Repair or replace components related to diesel engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and other critical parts while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Interpret automotive schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. Familiarity with ADAS technology, schematics reading, and automotive electrical systems. Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices safely and effectively. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Experience repairing diesel engines and working on powertrain components such as transmissions is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting complex issues. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
