Position:
Fleet Mechanic Reports to: Maintenance Manager Our culture: We humbly began from a small hometown-owned company and are committed to excellence in servicing the fuel and propane industry. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this individual will be responsible for expertly maintaining and servicing Kotaco's trucks and trailers. Must be able to diagnose and address mechanical issues and anticipate needed repairs. The ability to work in a busy shop environment is necessary.Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide the best service to our drivers possible.
- Service and maintain company-owned equipment.
- Ensure drivers have reasonable expectations for the length of time a repair.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Kotaco employees and service providers.
- Help the safety team maintain safety and compliance documentation.
- Ensure serviced equipment is compliant with all mandated regulations.
- Properly record repairs and maintenance for safety compliance and the billing team.
Requirements:
- Able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions.
- Good at working in a fast-paced environment with changing variables.
