  • 32 Hourly rate depending on Experience We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and maintenance on vans and school buses. Professionalism and Safety are core to all aspects of the operation. Duties Maintain clean organized and safe work environment Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections on new vans and buses Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical systems, air brake systems, HVAC units, gas engines, and diesel engines Operate heavy equipment safely during testing procedures or when performing repairs requiring heavy lifting or equipment operation Maintain detailed service records of all inspections, repairs, parts used, and work performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes Qualifications Dealership experience or extensive mechanic background Provide your own basic tooling Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, cranes, excavators or other heavy machinery safely and effectively Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism during interactions with clients or team members
