Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether working on gasoline, diesel, or hybrid engines, you will play a key role in keeping our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition. Repair and replace auto body parts when necessary, ensuring vehicles meet safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to perform precise repairs on GM vehicles and other makes. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, and welding techniques. Skilled in repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, suspension components, and performing wheel alignments. Ability to read schematics accurately and use automotive diagnostic software effectively. Experience with auto estimating software is a plus for efficient workflow management. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a commitment to quality workmanship. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
