Job Description
As an Automotive Mechanic , you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier automotive service. What You'll do as a Mechanic Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and powertrains. Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs such as shocks and struts. Repair or replace automotive components such as brake systems, air brakes (where applicable), and auto body parts. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to execute repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems effectively. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers or service advisors.
What We're Looking For:
Proven mechanic experience with dealership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems. Experience repairing diesel engines and working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately. Why Mega r?
