The fleet mechanic is responsible for servicing and repairing all fleet vehicles required to operate the rally school. Being detail oriented is key. The ideal candidate should have strong automotive mechanical abilities and capabilities to fix any issue mechanical, electrical, hydraulic etc. The fleet mechanic will need to track all maintenance done and utilize a maintenance plan to minimize down time in the fleet. Being quick to react and repair is important. Duties included are : Safely maintain fleet vehicles, cars, trucks and trailers Establish a maintenance plan with supervisor Help to maintain parts stock Keep a clean and safe work environment Safely and properly utilize shop tools Maintain visual appearance and cleanliness inside and out of the vehicles Important skills: Mechanic Welding and metal working skills Independent Detail orientedSelf-Motivated Attendance Physical Demands:
Must be capable of operating two foot pedals simultaneously while driving a manual transmission. Required to carry over 50lbs, 100 meters at a time. Must have no physical issues that might be exacerbated in an automobile accident.
