Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering systems, and powertrain assemblies. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and suspension inspections to keep vehicles in peak condition. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, welding, and mechanical adjustments while adhering to safety standards. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features and perform wheel alignments to optimize vehicle safety features. Diagnose and repair diesel engines and auto body damage as needed, ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications. Read and interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to execute precise repairs on GM vehicles and other makes/models. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations for vehicle longevity. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance across various vehicle types. Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diagnostics tools, schematics, and auto estimating software is essential. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, welding techniques, and auto body repair is advantageous. Skilled in working with hand tools, power tools, maintenance equipment, and automotive electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues related to transmissions, shocks & struts, wheel alignment, suspension components, and tire service. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience. Join us if you're passionate about automotive excellence!
