We're looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to be part of a team that values professionalism and accountability. Our shop is well-equipped, busy throughout the year, and committed to giving technicians the resources they need to succeed. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns on a variety of domestic and import vehicles. Perform repairs involving brakes, steering and suspension, engine components, cooling systems, air conditioning, and preventative maintenance. Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and accurately document findings and recommendations. Use diagnostic equipment and technical service information to identify issues and verify repairs. Test-drive vehicles when necessary to confirm customer concerns and ensure repairs are completed properly. Maintain accurate repair records and communicate findings with service advisors and management. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with shop safety standards. Work collaboratively with teammates to deliver high-quality service and a positive customer experience. Qualifications At least 3 years of professional experience as an automotive technician. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with experience using scan tools and other diagnostic equipment. Ability to perform repairs independently while maintaining attention to detail and manufacturer standards. ASE certifications are a plus but not required; continuing education and certification are encouraged. Must provide a basic set of personal automotive tools; specialty equipment is available in the shop. Valid New Jersey driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
