This is a great opportunity for someone who wants steady work, hands-on experience, and the chance to grow with a new business Position Overview We are looking for an Automotive Technician who is experienced, motivated, and comfortable working independently while also supporting a busy shop environment. This role begins with a paid trial period so both the technician and shop owner can evaluate fit, skill level, work ethic, and overall performance. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, brakes, suspension, tires, tune-ups, and inspections Assist with moving vehicles in and out of the shop as needed Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and shop standards Work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Qualifications Automotive repair experience required Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently Strong mechanical knowledge of domestic and foreign vehicles Valid driver's license Own tools preferred Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment ASE certifications are a plus but not required Trial Period This position starts with a paid trial period to evaluate: Mechanical ability and diagnostic skills Work quality and efficiency Reliability and attendance Overall fit with shop workflow and standards After the trial period, there is potential for long-term employment with consistent work opportunities.
