Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains, ensuring quality workmanship. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical problems. Service vehicles by replacing worn or damaged parts, performing wheel alignments, brake repairs, diesel engine repairs, and other maintenance tasks. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive tools to complete repairs safely and effectively. Interpret vehicle service manuals and auto estimating software to determine necessary repairs and communicate findings clearly to customers. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair environments. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including wheel alignment, transmission repairs, diesel engine repair, and welding. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is desirable. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust. Prior experience working with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting complex electrical or mechanical issues.
