Job Description

Keep Our Fleet Moving - Build Your Career! We're looking for a dependable, experienced Truck Fleet Mechanic to join our maintenance team. If you take pride in diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and keeping commercial trucks operating safely and efficiently, we'd like to hear from you. As a Truck Fleet Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of diesel trucks and trailers. Your work will play a critical role in maximizing vehicle uptime and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and fleet Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, air brake, and engine issues Repair engines, transmissions, suspensions, steering, brakes, and electrical Complete DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards Troubleshoot diagnostic codes using computerized diagnostic equipment Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records Perform emergency roadside repairs when necessary Manage driver technical concerns at any hour Keep the shop clean, organized, and safety compliant Prioritize repairs and minimize tractor and trailer downtime Qualifications 3+ years of diesel or heavy-duty truck repair experience preferred Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and electrical diagnostics (tanker trailer knowledge is a plus) Ability to use diagnostic software and shop equipment Valid Commercial driver's license required (CDL A) ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health insurance Paid holidays and vacation Profit sharing program On site training and continuing education Join us in keeping our fleet running smoothly!
