Job Description:

Provide safe, reliable, and cautious driving skills to provide round trip transportation to clients in our Adult Medical Day Care Program. You will help assist the AMDC (Adult Medical Day Care Program) with daily activities as required. Driver will make sure all passengers are seated with seat-belts securely fashioned, and wheel chairs secured- at all times while on the Van. Must be able to safely and securely help all clients in wheelchairs, with walkers, canes and the disabled in and out of the van and the Adult Medical Day Care. Driver will provide adequate and professional communication with Caregivers and St Ann's staff at all times. Driver will report any incidents, or accidents immediately as designated by our company policy. Responsible for keeping maintenance records for van and notified department head when service is needed. (oil changes, general maintenance, etc.)

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma and be at least (18) years of age and have a New Jersey driver's license in good standing with a clean driving record along with a valid CDL. Must be able to pass a background check and Drug Testing is required. Oral and written skills with the English language a plus, in order to communicate with residents, staff and fill out daily reports. In-between picking up and dropping off you may be asked to assist with Activities in the Day Care with the Clients.
