Trailer/ Tank Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trailer/Tank Mechanic/ to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and welding, particularly with trailers and related equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and repairing various mechanical issues, ensuring that all trailers are safe and operational for our customers. The Trailer Mechanic will work closely with team members to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Repairs:

Diagnose and repair a wide range of trailer problems, including brakes, axles, suspension, electrical systems, and more.

Welding and Fabrication:

Use various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) to repair and fabricate metal parts and components.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Inspection and Quality Control:

Inspect trailers for damage, identify areas needing repair, and ensure all work meets safety standards.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.

Communication:

Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.

Safety:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Skills Required:

Strong mechanical skills: Proficiency in trailer repair and maintenance.

Welding skills:

Experience with various welding techniques and equipment.

Problem-solving and diagnostic skills:

Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Physical strength and stamina:

Ability to lift and move heavy items, and stand for long periods.

Organizational skills:

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Communication skills:
