Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair or replace critical parts like air brakes, auto body components, and electrical systems to restore vehicle functionality. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs and welding tasks when necessary. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, Schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and GM vehicles is highly desirable. Proficiency in using mechanical hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive estimating software. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignment, suspension work, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement. Ability to work efficiently on both gasoline and diesel engines while adhering to safety standards.
