Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced car mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle makes and models with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets safety standards and performs optimally, providing our customers with reliable transportation. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and diagnose problems accurately. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine repairs, brake replacements, transmission work, tire services, and electrical system troubleshooting. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint issues efficiently and effectively. Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and repairs completed for each vehicle. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards to guarantee customer safety and satisfaction. Communicate clearly with customers about necessary repairs, costs, and timelines to foster trust and transparency. Keep the workshop organized, clean, and stocked with necessary tools and parts to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience Proven experience as a car mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques. Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Knowledge of current automotive technology trends and repair practices. Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently under pressure. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent are highly preferred.
