Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction! In this energized role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Whether working on gasoline engines, diesel powertrains, or advanced automotive electrical systems, your mechanical skills will keep our customers on the road with confidence. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems. Complete routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Repair or replace critical parts like air brakes, powertrain components, axles, and auto body panels while adhering to safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully for disassembly and assembly tasks; weld or perform basic auto body repairs as needed. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations to enhance vehicle longevity. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent repair shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for precise troubleshooting. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery safely and effectively. Experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; familiarity with ADAS calibration is desirable. Knowledge of brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension systems including shocks & struts, tire service, and auto estimating procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is advantageous but not mandatory.
