Technician Assistant C&L Autobody Morristown, NJ $16 - $18 an hour $16 - $18 an hour We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven Automotive Technician to fill an open position in our body shop. Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities:

Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle's integrated computer system Qualified candidates should have a working knowledge of Auto Body/Mechanical repair, with a concentration on disassembling and reassembling vehicles

Qualifications:

ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary Possess a high school diploma or GED About Company C&L Autobody is a regional Multiple-Shop Organization (MSO) with 11 body shops throughout Morris, Essex, Sussex, Warren, Union, and Middlesex counties in Northern NJ.
