Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 Position Summary The Automotive Service BDC Receptionist plays a vital role by managing inbound and outbound customer calls to schedule sales and service appointments. This position requires excellent communication skills, a courteous phone manner, and the ability to follow established scripts to enhance customer satisfaction and drive appointment bookings. Primary Responsibilities Answer all incoming calls according to provided scripts and schedule sales or service appointments Make outbound calls to customers for appointment scheduling and follow-ups Log customer comments and update customer information in the database Schedule follow-up contacts when appointments are not made Confirm and reschedule no-show appointments as needed Coordinate with Sales and Service departments to track appointment results Generate and send letters, postcards, and emails following predetermined timelines for customer follow-ups Respond to website customer requests and contact internet leads via phone and email Notify relevant departments when appointments are scheduled Assist with additional duties as assigned Meet or exceed monthly performance goals Work Hours This is a full-time position with hours aligned to business needs. Job Requirements:
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in telemarketing, customer service, automotive, or business development is highly preferred Familiarity with scripts, power tracks, or similar customer contact processes Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly demeanor as the first point of customer contact Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with management and team members Organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong time-management and prioritization skills Proficient with Microsoft Word and general computer/data entry skills preferred
