Automotive Service Advisor

Overview Ramsey Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) is currently searching for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our high-volume dealership team. We have an immediate opening for someone who is driven, is a collaborator with a willingness to work closely with colleagues, and someone looking to grow with us. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, providing exceptional customer service while effectively communicating their needs to our technicians. Your expertise in automotive repair and customer relations will help ensure a seamless experience for our clients. This is a great opportunity to hit the ground running in a busy and profitable shop. Great family type work environment with a huge following of loyal customers. The dispatch box is overflowing with available work. Duties Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required, including oil changes, brake services, and other maintenance tasks. Utilize strong upselling techniques to recommend additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety. Maintain accurate service records and documentation through effective service writing. Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of services. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership offerings. Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Familiarity with air brake systems, auto body repair, and general mechanical knowledge is advantageous. Experience in service writing or working in a dealership environment is a plus. Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining customer trust. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for the automotive industry and commitment to providing high-quality service.
