In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep production running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately. Conduct welding (including welding), fabrication, and repair tasks to restore equipment functionality. Operate field service vehicles and tools like scissor lifts to access elevated or hard-to-reach machinery safely. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. Collaborate with engineering teams and technical sales personnel to optimize equipment performance and implement upgrades or modifications. Adhere to safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage systems, and industrial electrician practices while performing maintenance tasks. Support training initiatives by sharing knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting techniques with team members. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally. Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation controls. Familiarity with schematics interpretation for electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical layouts. Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Ability to perform welding tasks specific to welding standards or techniques. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage electrical issues safely. Field service experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is highly desirable. Military background or experience in industrial maintenance roles within the military is considered an asset.
