Job Description
Overview HQ Custom Design is a leading builder of luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, mobile offices, command centers, specialty commercial vehicles, and custom van conversions. We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our growing team. Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Install vehicle accessories, electronics, lighting, and interior components Route wiring and assist with 12V electrical installations Remove and reinstall vehicle interior panels and trim Assist with installation of flooring, cabinetry, seating, audio/video equipment, battery systems, Starlink systems, and other vehicle accessories Follow installation drawings and work instructions Perform basic troubleshooting and quality control checks Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail Experience using hand tools and power tools Ability to follow instructions and work independently Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Positive attitude and willingness to learn Preferred Experience (Not Required) Automotive accessories installation Car audio, remote start, or alarm systems RV or marine systems Electrical or low-voltage wiring Construction, fabrication, or cabinetry Sprinter, Transit, or commercial vehicle experience Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Performance-based bonuses Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Sick Time Paid Vacation Paid Major Holidays 401(k) Retirement Plan On-the-job training Career growth and advancement opportunities Full-time, year-round employment Opportunity to work on luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter conversions, mobility vehicles, mobile offices, command centers, and specialty vehicle projects Supportive team environment If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and building unique custom vehicles, we would like to hear from you.
