Automotive Mechanic 487 Auto Repair and Tire Westampton, NJ 08060 From $150 a day - Temporary, Part-time, Internship From $150 a day - Temporary, Part-time, Internship Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of vehicles, including light-duty cars and heavy-duty equipment, utilizing your mechanical skills to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We're looking for motivated professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about automotive innovation and quality service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, suspension repairs, and brake replacements to keep vehicles operating smoothly. Repair and overhaul mechanical systems including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, powertrains, shocks & struts, and axles with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Diagnose complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body damage, and electrical systems to restore vehicle functionality. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience (or strong equivalent training) Able to diagnose and repair common issues on most makes/models Comfortable with standard shop tools and scan tools Shows up on time, works steady, takes pride in doing things right Valid driver's license and able to lift up to ~50 lbs Bonus Qualifications o ASE certifications o PA state inspection/emissions license o Alignment experience o Electrical/diagnostic strength Why you'll like working here:  Steady work—busy shop with repeat customers  No drama, no games—just good work and fair treatment  Team that backs each other up  We value quality — not rushing bad work out the door We are looking for a good attitude person.
