Job Description

The job will require a period of working with me , in our location learning the necessary skills to , service, repair, and inspect, chimneys, fireplaces, wood, gas,pellet stoves, and inserts. • Have the ability to walk on a roof confidently Must be able to carry 80 lbs. Excellent communication skills Experience in construction, service industry, or masonry is preferred Strong independent problem solving skills Team-focused mentality Ability to thrive in fast paced environment Strong organizational and documentation skills Understanding of excellent customer service Must have the ability to continually learn and improve. Microsoft Office products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to inspect, clean and repair chimneys according to Fire Safety Code NFPA 211, IRC and Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) standards. Maintain a clean vehicle, equipment and supplies. Use company issued tablet to dispatch, track, estimate, and invoice all work completed. Advise and educate customers regarding needed repairs and chimney performance and safety. Be able to accomplish general repairs, including minor masonry repairs. Perform basic installations of woodstoves; repair/replace stovepipe. Spot and flag safety code violations and interpret for customers. Troubleshoot and remedy chimney performance problems. Must have valid driver's license. Treat customers and their homes in a respectful manner.

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
