Automotive Service Advisor/Writer

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed auto service estimates using auto estimating tools and communicate repair options clearly Write service orders accurately, ensuring all necessary repairs and maintenance are documented Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to maximize customer value Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Maintain thorough records of all transactions including cash handling, invoices, and warranty documentation Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process Experience Dealership experience or automotive service management background preferred Proven success in auto service writing or automotive diagnostics roles Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, shocks & struts, diesel engines, and auto body repair Experience with auto estimating software and automotive repair procedures Familiarity with vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension work Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Knowledge of automobile sales processes is a plus Join our team to be part of an energetic environment where your automotive expertise makes a real difference!
