Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Create repair orders and communicate them to the appropriate technicians
- Provide estimates for repairs and obtain customer approval
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
- Ensure accurate billing and invoicing for completed repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Service Writer or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair, oil changes, shocks/struts, tire services, brake repairs, air brakes, suspension, alignment, transmission, and auto body repair is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with customers and technicians
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
