Lube Technician Crosstown Construction & Trucking LLC Las Cruces, NM Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Oil change Outdoor work Construction site experience Attention to detail Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Overview We are hiring a reliable Construction Lube Technician to service heavy equipment on active job sites. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and lubrication services on construction machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. Responsibilities Perform routine lubrication of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, haul trucks, etc.) Change engine oil, hydraulic oil, transmission fluid, and filters Grease fittings and inspect moving parts for wear or damage Check fluid levels and top off as needed Perform basic inspections of equipment condition (hoses, belts, leaks, tires/tracks) Maintain service logs and report issues to maintenance supervisor Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements on job sites Operate service truck and keep it stocked and clean Requirements Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not always required) Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable working around heavy construction equipment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and climb on equipment safely Basic mechanical knowledge preferred Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable and able to work independently Preferred Experience Experience in construction, mining, or heavy equipment maintenance Prior work as a lube tech, diesel tech helper, or field service tech
