Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs Explain repair and maintenance services clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and service recommendations Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission servicing to maximize customer value Manage service writing tasks efficiently, including invoicing, parts ordering, and maintaining detailed service records Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a professional attitude during all customer interactions Stay informed about the latest automotive diagnostics techniques and repair procedures across various systems including diesel engines, air brakes, shocks & struts, and auto body repairs Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive service management and customer relations Extensive mechanic experience with knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing processes Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Mechanical knowledge spanning transmissions, oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and clear communication abilities Experience in auto sales or automobile sales environments is a plus Strong organizational skills for managing multiple customer accounts and service schedules effectively This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their automotive career in a fast-paced environment.
