Job Description

Grease Monkey Elko is looking for new team members, No automotive experience needed, we will train you.
Position Overview Hood Tech/ Pit Tech Responsibilities:
Automotive care Ensure accurate vehicle information with our computer system. (Hood Tech) Accurately fill engine oils, top off coolant, monitor the conditions under the hood of vehicles, and report them to customers. (Hood Tech) Removing and installing engine air filters, and cabin air filters.(Hood Tech) Accurately recognizing engine oil pans, drain plugs, and oil filters. (pit tech) Accurately torquing drain plugs.(pit tech) Removing and refitting skid plates (pit tech) Customer Relations Welcome customers immediately in a professional manner. requirements, Grease Monkey services and pricing during the Welcome, Wait/Show and Departure. Maintain communications with other team members to ensure a safe work environment, and ensure no damage comes to customer vehicles. Maintain communications with waiting customers, keep them informed of wait times, and answer questions. Ensure a comfortable, clean, and safe atmosphere for customers. Thank all departing customers and remind them to return.
Qualifications Skills:
Employee Relations, Customer Service, Intermediate Computing skills Basic literacy (ready, writing, math skills); Verbal communication skills Ability to learn and implement multiple software platforms. Ability and licensed to operate motor vehicles; Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools Ability to hold self accountable.
Working Conditions Environment:
Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift.
Physical Activities:
Position requires good corrected vision, hearing, frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting. All employees must be able to drive themselves to and from work, and have a valid drivers license
Job Types:
Part-time, Full-time Pay:
$13.50 - $16.00 per hour
