Job Description

Urban Auto Workz is a clean, well-equipped independent automotive repair shop in Henderson, NV. We're hiring an entry-level technician ready to grow into a real career in the trade. If you've been doing oil changes at a quick-lube chain, just graduated from trade school, or you've been working on cars at home and you're ready to do this for a living — we want to talk to you. We are not looking for a Master Technician. We are looking for someone who shows up on time, works clean, asks good questions, and wants to build a long-term career in automotive repair. About Urban Auto Workz We have been serving the Henderson and Las Vegas area since 2014. Our shop specializes in Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and BMW service and repair, with a strong reputation for honest work, clean facilities, and skilled technicians. We invest in our team with 40 hours of paid training annually, modern equipment, and a clear path for advancement. What You Will Do Perform oil changes, fluid services, and filter replacements Complete tire rotations, mounting, dismounting, and balancing Test and replace batteries Assist with multi-point inspections and digital vehicle inspections (DVI) with photos and notes Replace brake pads and rotors under supervision Support senior technicians on larger repairs and learn shop workflow Maintain a clean, organized work area and shop appearance Follow all safety protocols and procedures What We Are Looking For 6+ months of experience in any automotive shop environment (quick lube, dealership lube rack, tire shop, or independent shop), OR Recent trade school graduate (UEI College, UTI, Lincoln Tech, CSN Automotive, or equivalent) Basic hand tools (we will help you grow your toolbox over time) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Growth within the company. Nevada SMOG license is a plus — if you do not have one, we will pay for training and licensing What We Offer Hourly pay of $18 to $22 to start, based on experience Raises tied to certifications earned and skill progression 40 hours of paid training per year Mentorship with 24+ years of experience from experienced technicians Clean, organized shop with modern equipment Real career path: C-Tech to B-Tech to A-Tech, with corresponding raises Steady hours, no commission pressure at this level Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Authorized to work in the United States Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen How to Apply Submit your application through Indeed.
