Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Collision Center Estimator to join our fast-paced automotive repair team. In this vital role, you will be a point of contact for customers needing collision repairs, providing expert assessments and accurate estimates for vehicle repairs. Your expertise will help streamline the repair process, ensure customer satisfaction, and support our commitment to delivering high-quality automotive services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs, including auto body repair, mechanical systems, transmissions, suspension, brakes, tires, and alignments. Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using auto estimating software, ensuring transparency and clarity for customers. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines while providing exceptional customer service. Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to coordinate repairs and prioritize workflow efficiently. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, and other automotive diagnostics to enhance customer satisfaction and shop profitability. Manage service writing tasks accurately while handling cash transactions professionally. Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions to ensure smooth workflow and compliance. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience with auto estimating software and service writing is essential. Familiarity with a wide range of automotive repairs including transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension work, tire services, brake repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engines, and automotive body repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and professionalism. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience as a service technician or mechanic is advantageous. Skills in auto sales and automobile sales processes are beneficial. Strong cash handling skills along with attention to detail in documentation. Pay:
$60,000.00•$80,000.00 per year
