Tire and Lube Technician

Pay $20-$25 DOE Overview Join our dynamic trucking team as a Tire and Lube Technician. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing essential tire and lube services; helping clean and organize shop, learn how to do minor repairs/services on trucks and trailers. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your mechanical skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position is essentially a shop hand that will develop into more pending ones hard work and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Perform tire services including mounting and dismounting stock tires. Conduct lube services on big rigs and dry van trailers Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks Clean the interior of trucks and trailer Learn along side our truck and trailer mechanics on how to perform inspections and diagnose/repair small issues. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, fluid top-offs, and general service checks Previous tire knowledge preferred, willing to train someone with right work ethic and ready to put in the hours Experience working with hand tools and power tools Ability to lift heavy tires or vehicle parts safely Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
