Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly while providing outstanding customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled mechanics eager to apply their technical knowledge in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and auto electrical systems to enhance vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs such as welding, auto body work, and mechanical adjustments. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to execute precise repairs on GM vehicles or other makes. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending maintenance plans to clients. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop backgrounds preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across diesel engines, gasoline engines, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Experience with air brake systems, wheel alignments, suspension repairs, tire service, shocks & struts replacement. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software confidently. Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures including oil changes and general vehicle servicing. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
