Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on electric vehicle electrical systems, including high-voltage components and battery management systems Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components such as motors, inverters, and transmissions specific to EVs Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently Replace or repair mechanical parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair techniques Part picking Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks including fluid changes, brake servicing, and system calibrations Interpret ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) data to troubleshoot sensor-related issues and ensure proper calibration for safety features Qualifications Proven dealership or service center experience working on automotive electrical systems and powertrain components Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Familiarity with automotive schematics, diagnostics software, and auto estimating programs Knowledge of automotive repair standards for transmissions, alignments, and vehicle maintenance procedures Service technician experience demonstrating customer service skills and effective communication with clients Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and follow detailed repair procedures accurately Have your own tools Join us as an Electric Vehicle Technician where your expertise drives innovation!
