Welcome to Saxby's Collision and Mechanical. We are a family run collision repair and mechanical shop. We have a reputation for high quality work and exceptional customer service. We take pride in our close-knit team and commitment to providing a friendly, supportive, and professional environment. Our shop is focused on delivering top tier Mechanical repair and restoration services. We have a rare opportunity to add a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic to our team. We are open Monday through Friday days only, we are not open on the weekend. We are looking for someone to add to our team that is motivated about their own career. We are only open Monday through Friday so the individual can enjoy time with family. We offer paid holidays as well as paid sick and vacation time. The more experience and knowledge you have, the more your rate of pay will be. Do you want to move away from the large chain shops, Saxby's is the place for you. The owner is on site every day to help you with your career. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Repair and replace components of automotive electrical systems, powertrains, and mechanical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations. Work with schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems. Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and maintain a clean work environment. Skills Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Proficient in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Solid mechanical knowledge, including experience with alignment. Ability to read and interpret schematics for complex automotive systems.
