Job Description

Job Summary We are a small, family-owned automotive repair garage in Broadalbin, NY, looking for a dependable and motivated Oil Change Technician to join our team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy a friendly work environment, and want to be part of a close-knit team, we'd love to hear from you. We are open Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm,no weekend hours. Overtime opportunities available when business demands. Compensation Pay is based on experience Responsibilities Perform oil changes efficiently using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper procedures are followed for different vehicle makes and models Conduct NYS inspections as well as additional inspections to identify maintenance needs such as tire service, wheel alignments, or fluid top-offs Assist with basic automotive repairs and diagnostics, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical troubleshooting Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Assist with general shop duties as needed. Qualifications Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is necessary Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, oil change procedures, and tire service Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
