Automotive Technician

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Flat Rate Automotive Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles efficiently while meeting productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment. This is a performance-based position where compensation is tied directly to flagged hours. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles Accurately document findings and recommended repairs Complete work efficiently to maximize flagged hours while maintaining quality Perform routine services including brakes, suspension, engine repair, electrical, and drivability diagnostics Follow manufacturer and dealership procedures for all repairs Communicate effectively with service advisors and management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications Previous experience as an automotive technician Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a flat-rate, performance-driven environment Valid driver's license NYS Inspector's License Own tools required Compensation & Benefits Competitive flat-rate pay structure (based on experience and skill level) High volume shop with consistent workflow Health, dental, and vision insurance available What We're Looking For Technicians who can produce consistent flagged hours Strong work ethic and accountability Team players who take pride in their work Ability to diagnose—not just replace parts Why Join Us Steady workflow and strong leadership Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow your income based on performance

$19.00 - $32.00 per hour
