Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance, particularly in performing oil changes and other routine services, for example change tires. As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our customers' vehicles. Responsibilities Perform oil changes and fluid checks for various types of vehicles. Knowledge of essential tools required Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks. Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Assist with other automotive repair tasks as needed, demonstrating strong teamwork skills. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs. Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques to enhance service quality. Experience Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures, including oil changes and fluid replacements. Proficient use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive service. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle systems and components. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for automotive service and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
