In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Repair or replace critical systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and auto body components with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, or replace parts according to manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems efficiently. Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing honest assessments of vehicle conditions. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with diverse vehicle makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and suspension systems. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair and auto estimating processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands enhances your ability to deliver specialized service. Skilled in welding, auto body repair, wheel alignment, tire service, and the use of diagnostic software tools. Ability to read schematics accurately and work efficiently with automotive electrical systems.
