This position works at a customer facility and will help maintain a fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers and 6 yard horses. Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards. Follow established technical & administrative processes. Complete repair orders, parts usage forms, PM lists, and parts accountability. Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, & customers. Remain current on technical & regulation requirements. Perform road service calls and road rescue/transport equipment as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations, and government guidelines.
Position Requirements:
2 years' experience as an automotive, truck, bus, or trailer technician. Ability to prioritize and complete job assignments. Proficient with computer operation/usage. Valid driver's license, CDL preferred. Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude. Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
